It’s been a minute or two since I’ve been around. Sometimes journeys require solitude. Especially when redirection is needed. This has been a period for me when withdrawal from the world was necessary to think and reflect. What do I want to do? Not what the world thinks I should do but what does my soul desire? How should I live my life?
I’ve come to believe these things change and evolve as our lives change. My life has changed dramatically in the last few years along with my perspectives.
Here are some things I’ve been up to….
Some silliness while playing with ink and markers.
A bit of Art Therapy-
A Page from my Art Journal
I spent some time in Michigan and ran into my kid who lives in Illinois. Happy coincidence!!
This is Josh
Had a great time camping in Key West! We will be back with a bigger tent. And an air mattress!
Once again I began working in a Senior Living Community. I am happy that my purpose focuses on Arts as I plan my work days. I try to remember I am blessed to use my gifts in this way.
Also, I began classes to become an Art Therapy Practitioner. To specialize in arts and crafts workshops for Seniors of all abilities. This is the joy of my heart!
OH! the undoneness of it all!!
Lately, I’m blocked and can’t (or won’t) finish any painting I start. Hoping that reading “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron will help.
Blessed to be where I am right now
