“Uh Oh” warns the fish crow.
Morning’s awake.
And everyone is here
making life sounds.
The ladies make their rounds.
Cluck clucks echoes.
Villa rooftops listen.
Echoes cross the sky.
Window eyeballs looking
Like soldier lines
Door mouths open wide
in astonishment.
The lanes are paddled
with greeting calls.
A bell rings, a soft meow
Children laughing in the wind.
My offering is small.
The gurgling pot.
Pencil scratching paper.
My eternal sounds.
